Gopichand Malineni on working with Sunny Deol
Speaking to Hindustan Times, Gopichand spoke about his excitement to work with Mr Deol, “More than being nervous about my Bollywood debut, I am confident that it will be a good film. I wrote the script because I knew it would be perfect for someone like Sunny. Luckily, Mythri Movie Makers (producers) also agreed and helped me get in touch with him. To my surprise, Sunny immediately said yes as he loved it so much.”
He said, “He is a big action hero, I am a mass director and we have the perfect script. And it is very clear that it is not a remake.”
Further, the noted director said that though he cannot reveal much about the film right now, he spoke about how a particular plot makes his film different from others. Malineni also revealed that the script has a touch of reality.
Meanwhile, the makers released the first look of the Sunny Deol starrer on Thursday (June 20). The makers announced on Exclusive that the shooting of the film has begun today (June 22).

The project, produced by Mythri Movie Makers and People Media Factory, is being called the biggest action film of the country. S Thaman has composed the music for the film. Cinematographer Rishi Punjabi and art director Avinash Kolla are part of the technical team. The film is tentatively titled SDGM.
According to Money Control, actress Saiyami Kher, who will be seen in the film, spoke about her feelings. She said, “I am extremely thrilled to be a part of SDGM. Working with Sunny Deol is an incredible honour and a dream come true. After Ghoomar, this opportunity is an important milestone in my career.”
