Google has announced an authorized renewed phone sales program in India to attract more buyers in India and promote market share in the world’s fastest growing smartphone market. The program will bring renovated pixel devices to the market for consumers.

Google mentioned that the available phone will include Pixel 7 and Pixel 8 Pro. Tech giant has participated with Cashiffy to sell refurbished Pixel devices.

Google’s assurance that all devices would have been renewed only using the actual Google Spare Parts, something that is often a concern for the devices used on the market.

All the equipment sold through this program will get a 1 -year warranty from Kishifi. Users can reach any caste facility across India to repair services or equipment.

All the refurbished pixels purchased through this program will come in a new box with a compatible charger. Google has not clearly mentioned whether the charger will be an original Google product.

Google claims that reviving the pixel phone will help meet the demand of consumers who want to get pixels at affordable prices. For reference, Pixel 10 was recently launched with an initial price of Rs 79,999. The company hopes that low prices will allow consumers to jump into the phone’s pixel line.

Google promotes stability with refurbished pixel

Stability is becoming increasingly important for all technical companies and consumers. Google claims that the refurbished pixel program conforms to its goals.

All refurbished pixel devices will come in 100% plastic-free packaging. Additionally, it also limits e-waste because the lifetime of a device is extended when used by another owner.

Which refurbished pixel can you buy?

At the time of writing, only two pixels are available for sale on the Casiphy website as part of the program, Pixel 7 and Pixel 8 Pro.

Pixel 8 Pro is priced at Rs 48,999, which has a discount of Rs 600 for gold users. The phone was launched in October 2023 with an initial price tag of Rs 1,06,999. The 8 Pro Tensor is powered by the G3 chipset and has a 6.7 -inch Ltpo Amoled display.

The phone uses a triple rear camera setup with a 50-megapixel main sensor. Other ultravide and telephoto cameras are both 48-megapixel sensors. This camera also brought AI features for experience.

The Pixel launched in October 2022 starts from Rs. 23,899. For gold users, the price falls to Rs 23,299. At the time of launch, the phone was originally priced at Rs 59,999. The Pixel 7 tensor uses G2 chipset and packs 90Hz AMOLED displays. It has a dual rear camera set with 50-megapixel main sensor and 12-megapixel ultravide.
