It is believed that Google shakes things a little this year and launchs the mid-range pixel smartphone a few months ago. The company confirmed that its annual developer event, Google I/O, will be held on May 20 and 21, 2025, where the ‘A’ series pixel phones are usually unveiled. However, this year, the alleged Pixel 9A is expected to be launched a little early. In early 19 March, its sales were rumored to kick by 26 March. Before the rumor launch in two weeks, the new render of Google Pixel 9A has surfaced revealing a new purple version and a small camera collision.

The render is shared by Ivan Blass through its X account. What we are saying looks really like images from marketing materials, but we are not yet sure. The render suggests that we already know about Gemini, theft protection, Google services, etc., but what is new is a purple version shown.

The rumor of being called Iris, the Purple variant is quite reminded of the Kolorway of Samsung Galaxy S22. In fact, even the edges and pixel 9A’s decreasing are a lot like the latest Galaxy S25 series. The new purple variants have been revealed, now we know that Pixel 9A will probably come in four color variants: Black, Off-White, Coral and Purple.

This render is more interesting, actually a better eye on the camera collision of Pixel 9A. It is now fresh to see that every camera spreads from a smartphone’s body that the pixel 9A comes with a very small camera that barely spreads from the phone’s body. It actually looks like a horizontally lined camera bumps that we saw on a smartphone almost a decade ago.

This is probably managed as the Pixel 9A is allegedly going to be thicker than the Pixel 8A, which means that the device will have a large battery and more room for more rooms to fit the camera sensor inside the device. For perspective, the pixel 8A 8.9 mm thick.

Overall, these renders are in line with those who are coming in the last few months. And the design-wise, if these renderrs are considered, the Pixel 9A will move away from the design language of the existing Pixel flagship. The device will have more flush, minimal design, and no other bar-style camera island.

Pixel 9A: leak specifications and features

Pixel 9A is rumored to be operated by Google’s tensor G4 chipset, which is using UFS 3.1 in association with 8GB LPDDR5X RAM and 128GB and 256GB storage. The phone will probably run Android 15 out of the box. It is also believed that it offers seven years of software and security updates.

The Pixel 9A is expected to perform a 6.28 -inch panel, with a 120Hz refresh rate and a peak of 2,700 notes. The phone is rumored to come up with a large battery of 5,100mAh, which will also be the biggest on the pixel phone.

For cameras, Pixel 9A provides a dual-camera setup facility, including a 48-megapixel primary sensor and 13-megapixel ultra-wide lens. For selfie, it will use a 13-megapixel sensor. Google’s signature camera features, such as night vision, astrophotography and super race zoom, are likely to be included.

Google Pixel 9A: Expected Pricing

Pixel 9A is rumored to start at Euro 499, which will be around Rs 46,000 for 128GB storage variants and about Rs 46,000 for Euro 599, which is about Rs 55,000 for 256GB model.
