Listen to the story

As Google is ready to launch its toned-down version, Google Pixel 9A, the rumor is that the price of the upcoming phone will be similar to its predecessor. According to the Android headline report, the Pixel 8A launched in May 2024 will be similar. We have earlier stated that the price of the phone is expected to be $ 499 (Rs 43,400) in the US.
According to Android Headline, the cost of 128GB of Google Pixel 9A is expected to be 256GB at $ 679 (Rs 59,100) and 256GB $ 809 (Rs 70,500). At a time when prices are rising throughout the board, it is refreshed to see Google while maintaining the same pricing for Pixel 9A, even with its important redesign. But before we comment on this, let’s see what we expect from the Indian value.
Google Pixel 9A: India Price (Expectations)
While the Indian pricing of Google Pixel 9A is not yet out, it is expected that it will copy the price of Pixel 8A. For perspective, Google Pixel 8A launched Rs 52,999 in India and Rs 59,999 for 128GB and 256GB storage variants respectively. According to previous reports, the Google Pixel 9A will cost $ 499 (about Rs 43,400) in the US for 128GB variants, while the 256GB model will be priced at $ 599 (about Rs 51,800). The base model maintains the same value as its predecessor, Pixel 8A, but an increase of $ 40 (about Rs 3,400) is seen in the high storage version.
If Google follows a uniform pricing strategy, Pixel 9A is expected to start from Rs 52,999, the 256GB model has potentially reached Rs 64,000. As a result, there will be a difference of more than Rs 10,000 between the two storage options.
Google Pixel 9A: What to expect
In the latest video leak, Tipster has revealed the rumor design of the upcoming Google Pixel 9A. This confirms earlier reports that the upcoming Pixel 9A will release the bar-style camera module in favor of a smooth, flush-back design.
The video shows the rear of the phone, which sports a flat, matte finish with Google logo. Unlike its predecessors, the camera module is microscopically integrated into the body, rather than spreading it. On the right side of the device, there are power buttons and volume rockers, while the left remains clean and free.
Although the Pixel 9A did not appear in the leak, rumors suggest that it would have a 6.3-inch OLED display with 120Hz refresh rate, HDR 10+ support and 2,700 NIT impressive peak shine. However, the bezel can be slightly thicker than the premium pixel 9 model.
Performance-War, Pixel 9A is expected to run on Google’s Tensor G4 chipset, which is paired with 8GB LPDDR5X RAM. Storage options will allegedly include 128GB and 256GB, both UFS 3.1 will use technology. The device will ship with Android 15 and is expected to receive seven years of software and security updates.
For cameras, Pixel 9A is rumored to facilitate a dual-lens setup, including a 48-megapixel primary sensor and a 13-megapixel ultra-wide lens. The front-faceing camera is also called a 13-megapixel sensor.
