With the Google Pixel 9 series launch in India on August 14, the excitement is building up. Although details are scarce, Google’s official teasers have indicated that the Pixel 9 series will make heavy use of Google AI, especially Gemini. Google Pixel 9 series: Leaked price

Google Pixel 9 Pro price was leaked just days ahead of the launch. The base model of the Pixel 9 Pro is priced at $999, just like the Pixel 8 Pro, but the Pixel 9 Pro XL is believed to be the true successor to the Pixel 8 Pro, which suggests that it could be priced higher. This could increase the price of the flagship model of Google’s series, with the top-of-the-line device potentially being the most expensive option.

This leak suggests that its price has been increased by $200 compared to last year’s Pro model. If Google keeps the same price for the base Pixel 9, then we could see it launching at $900 (roughly Rs. 75,556). According to the leak, two Pixel 9 Pro models are listed at this price. It states that the Pixel 9 Pro XL is priced at $1,200 (roughly Rs. 1,01,00) for the 256GB and 512GB storage options.

The leaked US prices may not necessarily match the Indian prices, as the Pixel 8 Pro 128GB variant is priced at Rs 1,06,999 in India, while its launch price in the US is $999 (roughly Rs. 84,000). This suggests that the Indian prices of the Pixel 9 series may differ from the US prices and potentially be higher.

Google Pixel 9: Top specs expectations

Display: The vanilla Pixel 9 model is expected to feature a 6.3-inch display. According to rumours, this variant is likely to be available in four colours: black, light grey, porcelain, and pink. As for the higher variants, rumour has it that the Pixel 9 Pro will come with the same 6.3-inch display as the base Pixel 9, while the Pixel 9 Pro XL could feature a larger 6.8-inch screen. Finally, the Pixel 9 Pro Fold is speculated to feature a 6.3-inch external display and a larger 8-inch main screen when unfolded.

Battery: Rumors suggest that the Pixel 9 series will feature improved charging speeds, with the Pixel 9 and Pixel 9 Pro able to reach 55 percent battery life in just 30 minutes, while the Pixel 9 Pro XL will charge up to an impressive 70 percent in the same brief period. The Pixel 9 Pro XL may feature a 5,060mAh battery.

Processor: The upcoming Pixel 9 series is expected to feature Google’s next-generation Tensor G4 chipset, a significant upgrade over its previous models. In terms of memory, the standard Pixel 9 is rumoured to have 12GB of RAM, while the higher-end Pro models including the Pixel 9 Pro Fold are expected to have 16GB of RAM, which will offer better performance and multitasking capabilities.

Camera: The Google base Pixel 9 is expected to feature a 10.5-megapixel front camera and a dual rear camera setup with a 50MP wide and a 48-megapixel ultrawide lens. The Pixel 9 Pro, on the other hand, could feature a 42-megapixel selfie camera and a triple rear camera array consisting of a 50-megapixel main sensor, a 48-megapixel ultrawide lens, and a 48-megapixel telephoto lens.
