Google has officially launched its Pixel 9 series in India. This time, the company has introduced three models in its flagship Pixel series. These are the Pixel 9, Pixel 9 Pro, and Pixel 9 Pro XL, each of which offers cutting-edge technology and pure Android experience while meeting different user needs. The inclusion of the XL model is likely to be inspired by Apple’s current iPhone lineup, which aims to offer users the most premium experience with the top-end model and offer the same performance as the Pixel 9 Pro at a more affordable price. The standard model is aimed at those who are on a limited budget and want an all-rounder flagship phone at the lowest price in the Pixel 9 series. Pixel 9, 9 Pro, 9 Pro XL: Prices in India, sale offers officially confirmed

The Pixel 9 series starts at Rs 74,999 for the 128GB variant of the standard model. The Pixel 9 Pro starts at Rs 94,999, while the Pixel 9 Pro XL starts at Rs 1,14,999. The new Pixel 9 series is available in multiple colours, including Obsidian, Porcelain, Wintergreen, Peony, Hazel, and Rose Quartz. All the devices will be available for purchase via Flipkart, Croma, Reliance Digital, and select offline stores.

Google has announced that pre-orders for the Pixel 9 and Pixel 9 Pro XL will begin tomorrow and these will go on sale starting August 22. The regular Pro model and Pixel Fold will be available soon, but the exact dates are yet to be revealed. The company also revealed that it is opening three Google-owned walk-in centers in Delhi and Bengaluru, followed by Mumbai soon. Talking about sale offers, with the Pixel 9 device, users will get up to 1 year of Google One AI Premium subscription. There will be huge discount offers of up to Rs 10,000 on the new Pixel devices, which will bring down the prices of the Pixel 9 phones drastically.

The most affordable Pixel 9 of the three sports a 6.3-inch OLED display with a resolution of 1080 x 2424 pixels and a dynamic refresh rate of 60Hz to 120Hz, ensuring smooth visuals and responsive touch interactions. The panel has a local brightness of 1800nits and a peak brightness of 2700nits. The screen is also protected by a top-end Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2 coating.

Under the hood, the Pixel 9 is powered by Google’s Tensor G4 processor, paired with the Titan M2 security coprocessor, which promises not just faster performance but multi-layer hardware security. Google says the device comes with anti-malware and anti-phishing protection.

Photography has always been a major highlight of Google’s Pixel series, and the Pixel 9 also features a dual rear camera setup, consisting of a 50-megapixel wide lens and a 48-megapixel ultrawide lens. The camera system of the Pixel 9 Pro has been upgraded with a triple rear setup, which also includes a 48-megapixel telephoto lens. The panel has support for 2000nits of local brightness and 3000nits of peak brightness. Like its Pro sibling, it is powered by the Tensor G4 processor and features the same triple rear camera system, which is capable of achieving 30x Super Res Zoom.

The Pixel 9 Pro XL also packs a massive 5,060mAh battery, which can charge up to 70 percent in 30 minutes using Google. The device is available with 16GB of RAM and is being offered in multiple storage options including 128GB, 256GB, 512GB, and 1TB.
