Google Pixel 8 is currently available on Flipkart at its lowest price ever – under Rs 50,000. This offer is available on 128GB variant of the phone. According to the listing on the e-commerce website, a flat discount of Rs 26,000 is available, bringing the price of the Pixel 8 down to Rs 49,999. However, if you use an HDFC Bank credit card and purchase the smartphone on an EMI transaction, you can get an additional discount of Rs 3,000 on the purchase of the phone. This means that the price of the phone has effectively become Rs 46,999.
Additionally, exchange offers of up to Rs 35,000 are also available which can further reduce the price of the phone. For example, at the time of writing the story, we checked the exchange value for a Pixel 7 that is in good condition. In return you can get exchange up to Rs 13,365. This means, if you get that amount at the time of exchange, the phone ultimately costs around Rs 33,000. If you have an old smartphone that you are no longer using, we recommend that you format your device and do a factory reset, save any data you need from it and then consider an exchange. This is a great way to save some extra money on phone purchases.
Notably, in August 2024, Google also officially announced price cuts for the Pixel 8 series and Pixel 7a. Notably, the price of Pixel 8 has dropped significantly. Its base variant with 128GB, which was launched in India for Rs 75,999, has been revised to Rs 71,999. The price of 256GB model of the phone was earlier Rs 82,999 and after the price cut, its price has become Rs 77,999.
However, with the offer currently running on Flipkart, the Pixel 8 is priced even lower than the Pixel 8a after the price cut in August.
And if you’re wondering whether the Pixel 8 is still a good option alongside the Pixel 9 that launched last year and the Pixel 10 series that launched in October 2025, we think the phone is still worth considering. In our review of the Pixel 8, we found that the device not only “looks good,” it also has a “fast processor, (and) amazing camera.” At the time of our review, we thought the only thing that might deter us from purchasing the phone was its hefty price tag. However, with the recent price cut and current discounts, the phone will absolutely be worth the money.
