Google Pixel 10 Pro Folds may be a witness to a price cut compared to its predecessor, Pixel 9 Pro fold (review). The next-GOOGLE foldable is estimated to hit the market in August 2026. While the launch is a few months away, a new leak shows that the company is planning to develop cheap folds. He said, leaks have taken care that even though the cost of the flagship device may be lower, other Pixel 10 devices are expected to get a price collision.

Google Pixel 10 Pro Fold Leaked Price vs Pixel 9 Pro Fold Price

According to the latest rumors, Google is planning to reduce the price of its upcoming foldable flagship, Pixel 10 Pro Fold, which is expected to begin in August. The device is said to launch less than $ 1,600 (about Rs 1,38,519) – $ 200 (about Rs 17,314). If true, it is a rare step in foldable space, where prices are traditionally standing.

For perspective, the Google Pixel 9 Pro fold was launched in India for Rs 1,72,999. This means that with the rumor cut of the upcoming Pixel 10 Pro fold, India may cost Rs 1,55,685 after calculating the US price difference.

The rumor also states that this price-cut tendency may continue further. Pixel 12 Pro Fold – slate for release in 2027 – it is also more economical, with an estimated price tag of $ 1,500 (about Rs 1,29,891). While foldables will still take over a premium on traditional slab-style smartphones, these gradual value cuts show that Google can aim to make the foldable device more mainstream and accessible over time.

Pixel 10 and Pixel 10 Pro XL Price Growth

In contrast, Google’s standard flagship line is moving in the opposite direction. Both Pixel 10 and Pixel 10 Pro XL are expected to increase the price of $ 100 (about Rs 8,659) compared to their predecessors, leading them to $ 800 (about 69,275 rupees) and $ 1,200 (about Rs 1,03,912) respectively. Interestingly, the Pixel 10 Pro will allegedly avoid this price increase, although it is not clear why.

This pricing strategy reflects a broader tendency: Google manifests to re -prepare its product levels, in which the foldables are inch towards the ability, while the flagship models climb more in the price. This can also be a step due to the iPhone fold entry.

Google Pixel 10 Series: What to expect
