The report states that the 10 Pro fold will come with a 6.4 -inch cover screen. For durability, the report also mentions that the Pixel 10 Pro may come up with an IP68 rating for fold dust and water resistance. Now, it may not look like a big thing, with most Candibar-style phones-there is an IP68 rating for some time in flagship or mid-range. But the foldables have not reached that level. In fact, today the best dust and water resistance on any foldable is on Samsung’s Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Galaxy Z Flip 6, with an IP48 rating. In IP48, ‘4’ means that Samsung foldables are protected from 1 mm larger dust particles.

However, an IP68 rating would mean dust – protection in water immersion for 30 minutes from dust with dust – it should be placed on the equilibrium with standard flagship phones like Galaxy S25 Ultra and iPhone 16 Pro.
