Google’s upcoming Pixel 10 series is expected to come up with a major camera upgrade. According to a report by Android Headlines, Pixel 10 phones are expected to bring a major improvement in video quality, thanks to an advanced zimbal stabilization system. It is being described as so good, it can mimic the results that you normally use a physical gimbal, but without really a need. Google has always been strong in photography, but the video has often been a weak place, especially when compared to iPhones. If this leak becomes accurate, Pixel 10 can close that difference at the end and give users a very smooth video experience. And the best part? This advanced stabilization technique is reportedly coming in the entire pixel 10 lineups.
The Pixel 10 series is expected to include four models this year – Pixel 10, Pixel 10 Pro, Pixel 10 Pro XL and Pixel 10 Pro folds. While the design is likely to stick to the familiar area, the leaked images have been indicated on flat sides, a horizontal camera bar, and slim bezels, which we saw on the Pixel 9 series. The color options have not been officially confirmed, but the initial leaks suggest that we can see a new set of finishing to go with the updated design.
Google Pixel 10 will reportly come in four colors: Iris, Limonsalo, Midnight and Ultra Blue. Iris colorway is seen on Pixel 9A. Expect a dark brown finish at midnight, while the ultra blue option can offer a royal blue finish, which we first saw in the Pixel smartphone. For limencolo, it is expected to be a mid-tone color option.
Both Google Pixel 10 Pro and Pixel 10 Pro XL are also expected to come in four colors: Light Porcelain, Midnight, Smokey Green and Sterling Gray Shades. Think of light poreclain as an off-white creamine shade. Smokey green and sterling gray, as the name suggests, may be dark and brown darker and light rendering respectively.
Finally, Google Pixel 10 Pro Folds will reportly come in two colors: Smokey Green and Sterling Gray.
Under the hood, Pixel 10 phones are rumored to run on Google’s new tenser G5 chip, which is manufactured by TSMC. This can be a very necessary improvement when users complained about heating issues and inconsistent performance in earlier models. The new chip is expected to offer better power efficiency, better thermal management and day-to-day performance.
On the software side, the Pixel 10 series is likely to be launched with Android 16. Google is expected to double its AI-operated facilities this year. Leak has mentioned new devices such as sketch-to-images, Speak-to-Twent for Photos, and even generic AI-all are running using video editing.
Another interesting bit standard Pixel 10 model is the potential additional additional of a telephoto lens. So far, it is exclusive to the pro model, but if it comes to the standard version, it can be a big win for regular users who want more versatility without spending extra. On the other hand, some camera sensors-specifically can see ultra-wide-a downgrade, allegedly use the same sensor found on Pixel 9A. But given how much it depends on Google software to make photos fantastic, it may not be a major issue in real world use.
As a launch, several leaks indicate a unveiling on August 13, starting the same day with pre-orgasters and shipments from 20 August. This is around the same time that happened after Google last year. With less than two months to go, more details are expected to be on the surface soon.
