Google Magic Editor now available on more Android smartphones
Google has expanded Magic Editor to more Android smartphones including Samsung devices with some limitations.

Google is expanding its Magic Editor feature beyond Pixel phones to other Android smartphones including Samsung devices. Launched with the Pixel 8 series in October 2023, Magic Editor was previously exclusive to Pixel phones. This update is particularly notable for Pixel users, as Google is offering the feature for free on these devices. However, for other Android devices, the number of photos they can edit is limited.
According to a report by 9to5 Google, the Magic Editor feature will be available to Pixel and Samsung phone users after updating to the latest version 6.85. For phones from Samsung or other manufacturers, Magic Editor usage will be limited to 10 edits and saves per month unless you subscribe to the Google One Premium plan. For unlimited edits, users can subscribe to Google One Premium (2 TB) for $9.99 per month, although Pixel users enjoy unlimited edits without a subscription.
What is Magic Editor and how to use it?
Magic Editor allows you to easily perform a variety of edits on your photos. You can resize or reposition objects in your photos by simply tapping or circling them and then dragging or pinching to resize them. This makes it easy to adjust the composition of your photos so you can focus on what matters most to you.
The tool also gives contextual suggestions to improve the lighting and background of your photos. For example, you can turn a grey sky into a golden hour sunset to give your photos a more vibrant and attractive look. After editing, Magic Editor provides you with multiple result options to choose from, ensuring you get the desired result.
