Chef and content creator Saloni Kukreja has shared a video on Instagram showcasing an immunity-boosting drink that all NYE party enthusiasts should drink before setting out on a booze ride.

Saloni Kukreja calls it the “anti-hangover shot” aka the “immunity shot.” “The first shot you should take before a New Year’s Eve party is this anti-hangover shot,” she explains. It contains a lot of coconut water which is rich in electrolytes. Not only this, the drink also contains ample amount of lemon juice which according to the culinary expert “supports detoxification”. The next ingredient in the magical drink is ginger juice, which is rich in anti-inflammatory properties.
A little sea salt in the drink will help you maintain electrolyte balance. Remember, sea salt is rich in nutrients that aid fluid retention and keep you hydrated for longer periods of time. Saloni Kukreja says the anti-hangover shot also includes honey which aids digestion and a pinch of turmeric and black pepper which have natural anti-inflammatory properties. She recommends shaking it well before drinking.

The method of preparing this drink is as follows:

First of all, you need to crack a fresh coconut and extract 1/2 cup of water from it.

After this put coconut water in a small bottle.

After this, squeeze some lemon juice, ginger juice, honey, sea salt, turmeric and black pepper into it.
