GoBoult expands Mustang range with 3 new smartwatches, prices start at Rs 2,999

GoBoult has expanded its Mustang lineup in India with three new smartwatches: Stallion, Racer and Muscle. According to the brand, the new additions follow its ongoing partnership with Mustang, which brings automotive-inspired designs while keeping prices accessible.

Homegrown brand Gobolt has expanded its partnership with Mustang in India with the launch of three new smartwatches: Mustang Stallion, Mustang Racer and Mustang Muscle. Along with the smartwatch, the company has also introduced the Mustang Sprint TWS earbuds, expanding the Mustang-branded lineup in both the wearables and TWS audio categories.

The new GoBoult Mustang smartwatches are now available for pre-order in India, with prices starting at Rs 2,999. According to the company, the new smartwatches follow the same approach it has taken with Mustang-branded audio products. These products feature greater attention to design, build quality, and hardware details that mimic the Mustang’s muscle-car identity.

Speaking to India Today Tech, GoBoult co-founder Varun Gupta said the company is continuing its partnership with Mustang, now in its third year, to shape the way the devices in the lineup look and feel. He says it is more than a simple co-branding.

“Mustang is kind of a mystery because the brand is not officially present in India yet. While people see brands like Ferrari and Lamborghini on the road, Mustang remains largely inaccessible,” he said. “That difference creates a lot of curiosity and aspiration. Given the history and attention to the Mustang name, for us, it’s an opportunity to bring a part of that identity closer to consumers.”

With the GoBolt Mustang series the company is said to be balancing premium design with accessible pricing. “If we launch these (products) at a price of Rs 8,000 to Rs 10,000, we will speak to only 10 or 20 per cent of the people in the country,” he said. “We don’t want the remaining 80 or 90 percent to be left out, which is why the pricing has been kept more rational and accessible to our audience.”

Gobolt Mustang Watches: Specifications and Prices

There are three smartwatches: the Mustang Stallion, Mustang Racer, and Mustang Muscle, each positioned at a different price point and featuring different design elements.

Mustang Stallion: Of the three, the Mustang Stallion is the most premium. Similar to GoBoult’s earlier Mustang-branded devices, the Stallion relies heavily on automotive-inspired design. It features the same physical controls as vehicle components, including a piston-head switch for power and menu navigation, a speedometer-inspired rotating bezel, and an ignition-style lever that provides quick access to activity modes. The Mustang Stallion is available at a launch price of Rs 3,999.

Mustang Racer: The Mustang Racer focuses on performance-themed design elements. The smartwatch comes with a tyre-tread-style functional crown for navigation and paddle-shifter-inspired levers for quick inputs. The Go Bolt has also added an aero intake-inspired strap, which the company says is designed to improve airflow and comfort during long-term wear. Under the launch offer, the price of Mustang Racer is Rs 2,999.

Mustang Muscle: The third model in the lineup, the Mustang Muscle, takes inspiration from the Mustang’s aerodynamic body styling. It has a large curved display and an alloy-wheel-inspired haptic-ring crown for navigation. The smartwatch also features a signature strap with dual racing straps. Gobault has confirmed that the Mustang Muscle will be available soon.

Along with smartwatches, GoBoult has also expanded the Mustang range in the audio category with the launch of the Mustang Sprint TWS earbuds. The earbuds feature a double-walled transparent polycarbonate shell inspired by a windshield, with curly details visible inside the casing. The price of Mustang Sprint TWS at the time of launch was Rs 1,499.

Notably, GoBoult recently rebranded itself from Boult, a move the company says was inspired by its plans to expand beyond audio into categories like smartwatches and other connected devices.

Explaining the change, co-founder Varun Gupta said that the earlier identity had started feeling limited. “We wanted to remove the restriction of being seen as just an audio brand as we were moving into smartwatches and other categories. We also wanted the brand to feel more youthful, design-focused and bold. At some point, we felt we were getting a little boring,” he said.
