GOAT Box Office Day 5: Vijay’s film crosses Rs 300 crore mark, creates new records

Thalapathy Vijay and director Venkat Prabhu’s latest film The Greatest of All Time aka GOAT has crossed the Rs 300 crore (gross) mark worldwide. The film’s production house AGS Entertainment has announced that the film has grossed Rs 288 crore in just four days. On Monday, September 9, GOAT added another Rs 14 crore (net) at the domestic box office. The film comfortably crossed the Rs 300 crore mark when collections from overseas are included.
GOAT, which released in theatres on September 5, is breaking new box office records with each passing day. The film received mixed reviews upon release, but it seems these reactions had no impact on its performance in theatres.

The spy thriller witnessed a significant drop on September 9, which is quite common on a Monday. Saconilc According to reports, GOAT has earned around Rs 14 crore at the domestic box office. With this, the film has crossed the Rs 150 crore (net) mark in India.
This Monday, the Tamil version of GOAT got 43.50 percent occupancy in India. Now it remains to be seen how the film performs in the weekdays.

Trade analyst Ramesh Bala told in his X post that GOAT opened at number 5 in Norway. The film earned Rs 65 lakh in four days.
At the Norway box office, #goat It debuted at number 5 and grossed US$77,579 (₹65 lakh).

Also, The Greatest of All Time is actor Vijay’s eighth film to cross the Rs 100 crore (gross) mark in the opening weekend in Tamil Nadu. Reportedly, GOAT earned Rs 106 crore (gross) in the state.

- Day 4: Rs 28 crore

Vijay’s Mersal was his first film to achieve this feat. After Mersal, he did seven films and all of them crossed the Rs 100 crore (gross) mark at the box office.
It looks like GOAT is set to break more box office records as the days go by.
Directed by Venkat Prabhu, GOAT is a spy thriller starring Vijay in two roles. The cast includes Prashanth, Prabhu Deva, Ajmal Ameer, Meenakshi Chowdhary, Sneha, Laila, Mohan and Jayaram in pivotal roles.
