Burgers are one of the most popular items on fast-food menus. It’s always a pleasure to make a sandwich with a delicious sauce topped with a crispy patty between soft buns. Although fast food doesn’t necessarily mean healthy, what if you could give your burgers a healthy taste? Imagine sinking your teeth into your favorite burger without feeling guilty afterward – wouldn’t that be such a good feeling? If you enjoy eating burgers but feel guilty afterwards, it’s time to change it. Next time you’re planning to make burgers at home, how about replacing regular buns with high-protein lentil buns? As we all know, burger buns are usually prepared with flour, making them less nutritious. But with these high-protein lentil buns, you can turn your burger into a guilt-free snack. How to ensure that the lentil burger buns turn out soft?

Are you worried that your burger buns have become dry and tough? Don’t worry! To avoid this, you have to keep some things in mind. firstly, make sure that you do not add too much water, otherwise it may change the consistency of the mixture. Secondly, avoid baking the burger buns for too long, otherwise they are more likely to be overcooked. Lastly, don’t overcrowd them in the baking tray.

Can you make lentil burger buns in the air fryer?

The answer is yes! Dal burger buns can be easily made in the air fryer. They give similar results when cooked in the oven and will taste just as good. All you need to do is place the burger buns in the air fryer basket and air fry for about 10-15 minutes. However, make sure the basket is not overcrowded, otherwise they will not cook properly.

How to make healthy burger buns High-Protein Lentil Burger Buns Recipe

Making dal burger bun at home is quite simple. Start by adding soaked red dal, curd, water, oil, salt and psyllium husk to a mixer grinder. Do not add too much water, otherwise the mixture will become too liquid. Blend until everything is mixed well. Now take out this mixture in a bowl and add baking soda, baking powder and apple cider vinegar to it. mix well. Divide the dough into equal parts, shape each part into a roti with your hands. Sprinkle sesame seeds over them and arrange them evenly in a well-oiled baking tray. Bake at 180 degrees Celsius for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown. Your lentil burger buns are now ready to enjoy!
