Preity Zinta is known for being quite interactive with her fans through social media. She never shrinks from speaking her heart. Recently, the actress, who is the owner of the IPL team, Punjab Kings, gave an answer to a user, who made an inferior remarks linking Glenn Maxwell’s performance in the ongoing IPL 2025.

On 13 May (Tuesday), Preity Zinta hosted an AMA session on her X (East Twitter), where many internet users flooded with their questions. However, one of the many questions was not good with the actress.

The user asked, “Ma’am, maxwell ki aapse shaadi nahi hui isiliye vo aapke team se accha nahi khelta tha? (Ma’am, Maxwell is not playing well for your team because he didn’t marry you?”

Angered by the comment, Preeti did not back down from reacting firmly to the user’s comment. He said, “Will you ask this question to the owners of the men’s team of all the teams, or is this discrimination reserved only for women?”

“I never realized how difficult it is for women to survive in a corporate setup, until I came into cricket. I am sure you have asked this question in humor, but I hope you really can see your question and understand what you are saying really – because if you do it, it’s not very beautiful!”

On a closing note, he said, “I think I have earned my stripes by working hard for the last 18 years, so please give me the respect I deserves and stay with gender bias. Thank you.”

To keep an eye

In addition, another enthusiastic fan asked the actress how she inspires the mantra behind her team’s better performance than her players and previous sessions. For this, the actress said that she was always a great team, but this time, the great leadership skills, strategic captaincy and coach, Ricky Ponting “made all the differences.”

“So full credit goes to our cricket operating team, our coaches and our captain to create a wonderful atmosphere for all players,” read a part of their long answer.

Preity Zinta will be seen next time in Sunny Deol’s Lahore 1947.
