Gerard Butler has shared shocking details about the intense filming conditions on the set of the 2006 action epic, 300. PeopleThe actor revealed that several actors suffered injuries while portraying King Leonidas and his Spartan soldiers as they fought the attacking Persian army.

The Ugly Truth actor said, I remember that every day someone was being taken to the hospital. You’ll be fighting, you turn around, there’s a guy down there, he’s got a spear through his eye. The second time, you turn around, there’s a guy who fell, broke his ankle. I mean, it was crazy.
