Garmin has just launched the Instinct 3 series in India. Building its legacy of rugged durability, the series is certified by the MIL-STD 810 standards, which means that it can withstand excessive temperatures, shocks and water depths of up to 100 meters. In addition, the instinct 3 series comes with an underlying LED flashlight for additional visibility in low-lighting position.

For the first time Garmin has also introduced its new lineup with AMOLED display option for better performance options. Instinct 3 is launched in two sizes in India – 45 mm and 50 mm – with color options including black and black/charcoal. Garmin has also introduced some limited-sanskrit colors, such as neotropic and notropic/twilight.

In India, the Instinct 3 series starts at Rs 35,990 for Instinct 3E, while the Standard Instinct 3 is priced at Rs 46,990. This Garmin is available for purchasing through India website and select the retail store.

The instinct series of germines is known for its rugged build and fitness-centered devices. The new general instinct 3 series is also designed to handle difficult situations. For this new generation, Garmin says that it has strengthened bezels with metal and has used a fiber-dominated polymer case for better durability. The performance is also scratch-resistant, providing additional protection against everyday wear and tears.

One of the standout characteristics of the series is its water resistance. Unlike several smartwatches, which are rated for a depth of only 30 meters, the instinct 3 chain is rated up to 100 meters, which makes it suitable for swimming, water-based activities and extreme external conditions. Garmin stated that the series meets MIL-STD 810 standards, ensuring shocks, excessive temperatures and flexibility against rough handling.

As mentioned earlier, germin has included an underlying LED flashlight with adjustable brightness levels and a red-light mode. This feature provides better performance visibility in low-light conditions.

Users can choose between two display options: a bright AMOLED screen with rich colors or a solar-operated model that expands the battery life using sunlight. The AMOLED variant offers a battery life for 24 days, while the solar model can remain indefinitely under the optimal sunny conditions.

For better navigation, Garmin has also integrated multi-band GPS and satik technology in the instinct 3 series. This feature also provides better space accuracy in remote areas. The clock also includes an ultimate, barometer, and compass (ABC sensor), with trekback routing, to help users to find their way by returning their steps.

For fitness and health tracking, the new instinct smartwatch can track heart rate, blood oxygen levels (pulse oxes), sleep patterns, stress levels and HRV status. Additionally, it includes women’s health tracking and supports many sports modes such as running, cycling, swimming, skiing and strength training.

The instinct 3 series also has on-screen animated workouts, germin coaches, and individual daily workout tips, allowing users to achieve guided fitness support to suit their goals.

On Smart Connectivity Front, the instinct 3 series enhances smart notifications, Garmin Messenger to detect two-way messaging, livetrack and event, both connectivity and safety.
