Game Changer, starring Ram Charan and Kiara Advani, is set to release in theaters on Sankranti 2025. The official release date of the film was confirmed through a video by producer Dil Raju on the occasion of Dussehra.
Originally scheduled to release in late 2024, possibly around Christmas, the film’s release was postponed due to logistical factors related to distribution in India and overseas. The producers decided that Sankranti would be a more appropriate time to launch the film.
In the video, Dil Raju expressed his gratitude to the team behind Chiranjeevi and Vishwambhara for allowing Game Changer to take its early Sankranthi release slot. For context, Vishwambhara, a socio-political fantasy film starring Chiranjeevi, was initially scheduled to release during the Sankranti festival.
Additionally, the producer also highlighted how the pending post-production work of Game Changer will be completed by December this year. The video also confirmed that the makers will likely release a teaser in due course of time.

The upcoming film Game Changer, starring Ram Charan, is directed by Shankar and is based on a story by Karthik Subbaraj. In this political drama, the RRR actor plays the role of an IAS officer who is determined to clean up the corrupt political system around him.
Apart from Ram, the political drama film also stars Kiara Advani, SJ Suryah, Anjali, Jayaram, Srikanth, Subhlekha Sudhakar, Sunil, Nassar and many more in lead roles.
The film, musically composed by Thaman S, has already unveiled two singles from the film titled Jaragaandi and Ra Macha Macha. While the first single featured a passionate duet between Ram and Kiara, the latter was a folk song, in which the actor also performed a single-shot dance sequence.
Moving forward, Ram Charan is currently prepping for his next film with director Butchi Babu Sana, tentatively titled RC 16. The upcoming film is said to be a sports drama starring Janhvi Kapoor and Shiv Rajkumar in the lead roles.
