In short

  • Producer Sirish says that neither Ram Charan nor director Shankar contacted him after ‘Game Changer’ failure
  • He clarified that his relationship with Ram Charan remains intact
  • The manufacturers revealed that they recovered 60–70 percent of their loss due to ‘Sankranthiki Vastunam’.

Producer Dil Raju and Sirish, who are currently promoting their upcoming film ‘Thommudu’, have brought back their previous production ‘Game Changer’ starring Ram Charan. Six months after his release, producer Sirish revealed that neither actor Ram Charan nor director Shankar should increase support for the producers after the film’s failure.

In an interview with Great Andhra, Producer Sirish talked about the actor and director’s response after the release of the film and said, “When the ‘game changer’ flopped, did the hero help? Did the director help? He too did not call for us to investigate. We are not blaming anyone. We only saved our distributors.”

Sirish clarified his relationship with Ram Charan, saying, “If we take a script and go, if he likes, he will accept it. We will not contact him yet. We have not lost relationship with him because the film failed. We know if we will contact him, things will work.”

Talking about the impact of the film, the producer said, “With the Game Changer”, we thought we were finished.

Manufacturer Dil Raju, who is actively promoting ‘Thamudu’, opened about the ‘game changer’, admitting that it became a commercial failure for the banner. He said that he feels guilty of not being able to give a hit film for Ram Charan.
