Full list of all Airtel and Jio plans whose prices have increased

Reliance Jio and Airtel have announced revised tariffs for their prepaid and postpaid plans. Both the telcos have revealed that the tariff plans with new prices will be effective from July 3, 2024. Here is the complete list of new plans from both Airtel and Jio.

Making significant changes to their pricing strategy, Reliance Jio and Airtel have announced revised tariffs for their prepaid and postpaid plans. Both the telcos have revealed that the tariff plans with new prices will be effective from July 3, 2024. This revision includes a significant increase in the prices of various plans while maintaining the same service benefits. Here is the complete list of new plans from both Airtel and Jio.

Jio’s 1 month prepaid plan price increased

As for the one-month plans, the most basic option, which was earlier priced at Rs 155, will now cost Rs 189 and comes with unlimited voice calls, 2GB data and SMS benefits for 28 days. The popular Rs 249 plan, which increased from Rs 209, is available with 1GB data per day, unlimited calls and SMS for the same period.

Meanwhile, the Rs 299 plan, which was earlier priced at Rs 239, now includes 1.5GB data per day, along with the same call and SMS benefits. The Rs 349 and Rs 399 plans have also seen a price hike, now priced at Rs 349 and Rs 399, offering 2GB and 2.5GB data per day, respectively. The Rs 449 plan, which was earlier priced at Rs 399, offers 3GB data per day along with the standard unlimited calls and SMS for 28 days.

Changes have also been made in Jio’s two-month plan. Instead of the Rs 479 plan, the Rs 579 plan will offer 1.5 GB data per day, while the Rs 629 plan will offer 2 GB data per day instead of the Rs 533 plan. The validity of both plans is 56 days.

Long term prepaid Jio plans with new prices

For customers seeking longer-term options, the three-month plans have been substantially updated. The Rs 479 plan, which has now increased from Rs 395, includes 6GB of data for 84 days, while the Rs 799 plan, which has increased from Rs 666, offers 1.5GB of daily data. The Rs 859 and Rs 1199 plans, which were earlier priced at Rs 719 and Rs 999 respectively, now offer 2GB and 3GB of daily data for the same period, along with unlimited voice calls and SMS benefits.

Changes have also been made to the annual plan. The Rs 1899 plan, up from Rs 1559, offers 24GB data for 336 days. The premium Rs 3599 plan, which was earlier priced at Rs 2999, now offers 2.5GB data per day, unlimited calls and SMS for the whole year.

Apart from these, the price of data add-on packs has also been changed. The Rs 19 plan (earlier Rs 15) offers 1 GB of additional data, while the Rs 29 plan (earlier Rs 25) offers 2 GB and the Rs 69 plan (earlier Rs 61) offers 6 GB of additional data.

New postpaid Jio plan prices

Changes have also been made in the postpaid plan, in which the price of the Rs 349 plan has now increased from Rs 299 to Rs 349 and it will get 30 GB data per billing cycle. The Rs 449 plan was earlier priced at Rs 399, but now it will get 75 GB data per billing cycle.

Notably, all plans that offer 2GB or more data per day will include unlimited 5G data, enhancing the overall value for high-data users. These new pricing structures and benefits will be available from the stated effective date through all existing Jio touchpoints and channels.

For customers opting for monthly prepaid plans, the Rs 199 plan, which was earlier priced at Rs 179, now offers 2GB data, unlimited calling and 100 SMS per day for 28 days. The Rs 299 plan, which was earlier priced at Rs 265, includes 1GB data per day for 28 days with the same calling and SMS benefits. Moving on, the Rs 349 plan, which increased from Rs 299, offers 1.5GB daily data. The Rs 409 plan, which was earlier priced at Rs 359, now includes 2.5GB data per day, and the Rs 449 plan, which was earlier priced at Rs 399, offers 3GB data per day, both for a period of 28 days.

For those looking for long-term options, the Rs 579 plan, which has increased from Rs 479, offers 1.5GB data per day for 56 days. The Rs 649 plan, which was Rs 549, offers 2GB data per day for the same period. For a three-month period, the Rs 509 plan, now priced at Rs 509 from Rs 455, includes a total of 6GB of data, while the Rs 859 plan, which was earlier Rs 719, and the Rs 979 plan, which has increased from Rs 839, offer 1.5GB and 2GB daily data respectively for 84 days.

Changes have also been made to the annual prepaid options. The Rs 1999 plan, up from Rs 1799, offers 24GB data, unlimited calling and 100SMS per day for the entire year. The Rs 3599 plan, which was earlier priced at Rs 2999, now offers 2GB data per day, unlimited calling and 100SMS per day for 365 days.

New Airtel data add-on plans

For additional data needs, Airtel has made changes to its data add-on packs. The Rs 22 plan, which was earlier priced at Rs 19, offers 1GB of additional data for a day. The Rs 33 plan, which was earlier priced at Rs 29, offers 2GB of additional data for a day, and the Rs 77 plan, which was earlier priced at Rs 65, includes 4GB of additional data for the duration of the base plan.

New 2024 Airtel Postpaid Plans

Postpaid users are also facing new prices. The Rs 449 plan offers 40GB data with rollover, unlimited calling, 100 SMS per day and Xstream Premium subscription. The Rs 549 plan includes 75GB rollover data, Xstream Premium, Disney+ Hotstar for 12 months and Amazon Prime subscription for 6 months.

For families, the Rs 699 plan offers 105GB data, unlimited calling, 100 SMS per day, and subscription to Xstream Premium, Disney+ Hotstar and Amazon Prime as well as Wynk Premium for two connections. The Rs 999 plan for larger families offers 190GB data, unlimited calling, 100 SMS per day, and the same streaming subscriptions for four connections.
