From Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra to Vivo V70, list of phones launching in February 2026
February 2026 could be a busy month for smartphone buyers, with Samsung, Vivo, Poco and Realme set to launch new launches across the flagship, mid-range and value segments.

February 2026 is quietly turning into one of those months where smartphone buyers will want to pause before hitting the checkout button. There are a number of big brands gearing up to launch at different price points, and whether you’re eyeing a top-end flagship or a value-focused phone with a big battery, there’s something coming your way.
Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra, S26
Samsung is expected to once again make headlines with its Galaxy S26 series, which may be unveiled at the Galaxy Unpacked event later this month. At the top of the lineup, the Galaxy S26 Ultra looks set to continue Samsung’s familiar Ultra formula, but with a few changes that will matter to everyday users. The phone is reported to have a large 6.9-inch QHD+ Dynamic AMOLED display with a 1-120Hz refresh rate. One new addition that’s being talked about is a privacy-focused viewing mode that makes the screen harder to read from the edges — a small but useful touch for people working on their phones in public places.
Performance-wise, the Galaxy S26 Ultra is expected to be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset, with storage options starting at 256GB and going up to 1TB. Camera hardware remains a strong selling point, with leaks pointing to a 200MP main camera, supported by a 50MP ultra-wide sensor, a 50MP 5x periscope lens, and a 10MP 3x telephoto camera. Samsung is likely to once again come with a 5,000mAh battery, but fast 60W charging could eventually make charging less of a waiting game. The S26 series is expected to be announced around February 25, with sales starting sometime in March.
The standard Galaxy S26 and Galaxy S26+ are expected to stick to Samsung’s familiar formula while polishing up important details. The Galaxy S26 may come with a 6.3-inch Full HD+ Dynamic AMOLED display and a compact build, weighing around 137 grams, making it the lightest and easiest phone to handle in the lineup. It is likely to have a triple rear camera setup with a 50MP main sensor, a 12MP ultra-wide camera, and a 12MP selfie camera with a 10MP telephoto lens. Powering the phone could be either an Exynos 2600 or a Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5, depending on the market, paired with Android 16-based One UI 8.5 and a 4,300mAh battery. The Galaxy S26+ is expected to take the same core hardware and expand it on a larger scale, with a 6.7-inch Quad HD+ AMOLED display, a heavy build of around 190g, and a larger 4,900mAh battery. Apart from the screen size and battery, the S26+ is likely to share the same camera setup and chipset options as the standard model, presenting it as an option for users who want a larger display without having to step up to Ultra.

Vivo V70 series
Meanwhile, Vivo is preparing to launch its V70 series in India and this time it has a new name. Along with the standard Vivo V70, the company is expected to introduce a V70 Elite model. Vivo has already started teasing the phone, hinting at a strong focus on design and photography, two areas where the V-series has traditionally performed well.
The Elite variant is tipped to run on the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chipset, while the regular V70 could use the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4. The cameras are expected to include Zeiss-backed optics, with a triple rear setup consisting of a 50MP main sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide, and a 50MP 3x telephoto lens. Vivo is also expected to bring back its AI-powered camera tools, which will also include features tailored for Indian users. Design leaks suggest a move towards a flat frame and square-shaped camera module. The large 6,500mAh battery with 90W fast charging could make the V70 series a solid choice for users who want both style and all-day battery life.
Poco X8 series
Battery life is also where Poco is set to make a splash with its upcoming X8 series. Poco X8 Pro and X8 Pro Max are expected to launch soon, with the Pro model already appearing on India’s BIS certification database. According to the leak, the Poco Both phones are said to support 100W fast charging.
The Poco The Pro Max variant may offer a larger 6.83-inch AMOLED panel and a more powerful Dimensity 9500s processor. The camera setup on both phones is expected to be practical rather than flashy, featuring a 50MP main camera with OIS, an 8MP ultra-wide lens, and a 20MP front camera.
realme 16
Rounding out the expected launch is the Realme 16, which has already launched in Vietnam and has now appeared on India’s BIS website. This strongly points towards an India launch in the near future. Positioned below the Realme 16 Pro and Pro+ models, the Realme 16 is meant for users who want a good-looking phone without stretching their budget too much.
The design is one of the talking points of the Realme 16. The phone introduces a new ‘Air Design’ with a thin horizontal camera strip inspired by Apple’s layout, as well as a small ‘selfie mirror’ that helps users frame shots using the rear camera. The color of the back panel also changes in different lighting. Talking about specifications, the phone is expected to sport a 6.57-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, a 50MP rear camera, a rare 50MP selfie camera, and a massive 7,000mAh battery with 60W fast charging. Realme is also emphasizing durability here with multiple dust and water resistance ratings.
