Sharvari Wagh recently impressed everyone with her performance in the horror comedy Munjya. She is now all set for a number of great films ahead, including the much-anticipated Alpha, which also stars Alia Bhatt. Sharvari recently spoke about her ‘contrasting’ preparations for two films from different worlds of Bollywood. She talked about getting into the skin of the character for the YRF Spy Universe film.
In a recent interview with Elle India, Sharvari Wagh revealed that working in Dinesh Vijan’s horror comedy Universe and YRF’s Spy Universe inspired her a lot. She called them “two big IPs of Bollywood”. The actress expressed her gratitude to producers Dinesh Vijan and Aditya Chopra for giving her this opportunity.
Talking about her preparation for Munjya and Alpha, Sharvari told, “The preparation for both the films is completely opposite, because for Munjya, I had to get into the skin of a ghost at one point and work on a lot of body language.”
Describing action in the spy universe as “cool”, he revealed that his preparation involved rigorous training and dietary restrictions. “You really want to get into the character and do justice to the action script that has been prepared for you,” he said.
Sharvari Wagh and Alia Bhatt recently shared a heartwarming picture on their Instagram handles. The two are currently in Kashmir for the shooting of Alpha. They shared a picture with their fans on August 30, 2024, making a heart with their hands.
Alpha is directed by Shiv Rawail of The Railway Men fame. The film was officially announced in July, 2024 with a title reveal video. The caption of the post read, “It’s time for #ALPHA.. Girls!”
Meanwhile, Munjya releases in theatres on June 7, 2024. It also stars Abhay Varma, Mona Singh and Sathyaraj. The film is directed by Aditya Sarpotdar.
