In a recent post shared by Richa, she can be seen standing at a London tube station wearing a black blazer and dress. The caption given with the post read, “Hmmm…are my solo travel days suddenly over? These photos are from July 2023, when I had just finished a stressful and awkward shoot in London, and decided to go on a solo-trip to Amsterdam the next morning. With @harryrajput64, whose camera was stolen from the production car…Harry who was eager to party on his last night in London, was clicking pictures at Pimlico station…I just wanted to go to Amsterdam via Eurostar for a little gallery-hopping and soul-searching. He went off to party, I stayed at my friend’s apartment, ordered a salad and slept! Missing tonight…what will happen now, I will take responsibility of a completely different person. Now I can’t just get up and leave right? What do the mothers say?”

Here Richa is about to become a mother and worries if her days of independence are over; even when it comes to sudden travels. This gives a lot to ponder over about the many compromises mothers make to raise their children.
Masaba Gupta found the coincidence in the post and commented, "Been having the same thoughts for a few days, Richa! But look at it this way - that a new life will bring a change of responsibility, new needs and maybe new areas of focus. And newness is sometimes very uncomfortable in the beginning, but in the long run it is a blessing. Even on a spiritual level, it wouldn't have come your way if you weren't prepared for what life throws at you in the unknown... maybe there's some bigger plan going on? This last thing helps me whenever I get anxious about being a new mom! Lots of love - hope we all embrace this as beautifully as possible @therichachadha". Masaba gave perspective and hope for the new life and its new responsibilities.
In another post on her Instagram handle, Richa shared a candid selfie of herself, Ali and their pet cat Jugni on the occasion of Father's Day with the caption, "Dear blessings that come in a 6 feet package, before the day is over, Happy 1st Father's Day (from the womb). You are the best thing that has happened to me. And now to us too. Thank you." Here she wished Ali on his first Father's Day on behalf of her unborn baby growing in her womb. The feeling of gratitude for the blessing of having the perfect partner and now soon becoming a father to her child was evident. Being grateful for the support around pregnant women is also an important factor. A very important blessing is having a supportive partner by your side.
Trust Richa Chadha to speak the truth. Lots of power to the actress for speaking out openly about parenting and beyond.
