Many prominent names from the South film industry including Chiranjeevi, Allu Arjun, Jr NTR, Mahesh Babu and Venkatesh Daggubati have expressed deep grief over the death of Bollywood icon Dharmendra. The actor beloved by many generations died on November 21 at the age of 89. His heartfelt tribute reflects the impact Dharmendra had on artists and audiences across the country that extended far beyond Hindi cinema.
Venkatesh Daggubati remembered the late star with great affection, writing, “Dharmendra ji was more than an icon. He exuded a warmth that touched generations and a dignity that defined an entire era of Indian cinema. His films, his spirit and his performances will live on in our hearts. May his soul rest in peace.”
Chiranjeevi Konidela described him as a wonderful human being, sharing, “Sri Dharamji was not only a great actor but also a wonderful human being. The humility and warmth I experienced whenever I met him touched my heart deeply. I will always cherish the happy memories and personal moments I shared with him.
