Former Bigg Boss contestant Umar Riaz criticized the producers of season 18 for favoritism, recalling his experiences of alleged bias during his season.
Former Bigg Boss contestant Umar Riaz has accused the makers of Bigg Boss 18 of bias. He even claimed that the producers of the show were promoting nepotism. Umar, who was a part of Bigg Boss 15, faced eviction after a physical altercation with another contestant. She also shared posts on Karanvir Mehra and Vivian Dsena, highlighting the bias.
In a recent Instagram post, he recalled the act where he got hit on the forehead, drawing criticism for his lack of quick action at the time. He was a part of the 15th season of the reality showRecently, Karanvir got injured during a task. Umar expressed his disappointment, saying, “There are scars on my face. I wish I could have shown my forehead scars during my work. I’m sure the channel didn’t because I was never their Napo Child.”
During the recent incident, Karanvir’s glasses broke, due to which he suffered an injury under his eye. Fellow contestant Vivian Dsena was seen defending Karanvir in this matter.

Umar Riaz’s criticism of Bigg Boss makers is nothing new. In 2022, after her exit from the show, she told TOI that she was wrongly labeled as aggressive. He questioned the basis of his elimination and suggested that public support was in his favor, contrary to the show’s claims.
On the professional front, Umar Riaz has kept a low profile since his Bigg Boss stint. However, she is set to return to the limelight as the host of an upcoming fashion-based reality show on MTV.
