F&O ban list: Hindustan Copper, India Cements among 8 stocks under trading ban on Tuesday

Aditya Birla Fashion and Retail (ABFRL), Chambal Fertilizers and Chemicals, GMR Airport Infrastructure, Gujarat Narmada Valley Fertilizers and Chemicals (GNFC), Hindustan Copper, India Cements, Indus Towers and M eight stocks are under F&O trading ban on Tuesday. RBL Bank.

Meanwhile, Balrampur Chinese, Bandhan Bank, India Energy Exchange (IEX), and Piramal Enterprises (PEL) have opted out of the ban.

Futures and options contracts of any stock enter the restriction period when the open interest (OI) on it exceeds 95% of the market-wide position limit (MWPL). The restriction is reversed only if the open interest falls below 80%.

Traders trading in securities do not face the security restriction situation.

MWPL for ABFRL on Monday was 80.1%, while OI was 37.2 million. It was 1% lower than the previous session.

MWPL for Chambal Fertilizers on Monday was 84.7%, while Trendlyne reported OI of 9.9 million. It was 2% lower than the previous session.

MWPL for GMR Airports stood at 98.2% on Monday, while OI stood at 217.3 million. It was 2.7% higher than the previous session.

For GNFC, MWPL was 84.9% on Monday, while OI stood at 6.3 million. It was 1.4% lower than the previous session.

Hindustan Copper’s MWPL was 96% on Monday, while OI was reported at 34.6 million by Trendlyne. It was 0.4% higher than the previous session.

MWPL for India Cements on Monday was 81.3%, while Trendlyne reported OI of 12.4 million. It was 6.7% lower than the previous session.

Indus Towers’ MWPL was 85.4% on Monday, while Trendlyne reported OI of 86.3 million. It was 1.5% lower than the previous session.

MWPL for RBL Bank on Monday was 88.9%, while OI was reported by Trendlyne at 52.2 million. It was 1.5% lower than the previous session.

Indian headline indices led by energy, auto and pharma stocks hit record highs on Monday. The 30-stock S&P BSE Sensex closed up 145.52 points, or 0.18%, at 80,664.86, while the broader Nifty scaled 24,635.05, or 84.505%, before settling at 24,586.70.
