Veda starring John Abraham is one of the most awaited films releasing this Independence Day (August 15). Veda also stars Sharvari Wagh, Tamannaah Bhatia and Abhishek Banerjee. The first song of Veda has been released on YouTube in which John as Abhimanyu is seen mourning the loss of his lover, played by Tamannaah in this heart-wrenching track.
On 10 August, the makers released the track from Veda, Zaroorat Se Zyada on the internet. The song features John Abraham in army uniform as Major Abhimanyu Kanwar, who sees Tamannaah’s character in a seriously injured state. The track showcases the love between John and Tamannaah’s characters.
In the flashback scenes, the couple gets married and begins their new journey. In the present, Abhimanyu sits near a bonfire and remembers her. John as Abhimanyu struggles to cope with the loss of his love.

The official handle of Zee Music Company shared the video of Zaroorat Se Zyada on Instagram. The caption reads, “When love is gone, only tears remain… #ZarooratSeZyada, a melody that will make you wonder what could have been.”
Talking about the song ‘Zaroorat Se Zyada’ at the song launch, John Abraham said that the song brings life to Ved and brings out the emotional and romantic side of his character. He said, “It is a song that depicts the purest form of love and shows that this film is not just about action but also about love!”
Tamannaah Bhatia shared her excitement about working with John for the first time. She said that working with him was an “incredible” experience. She added, “His dedication to the role made our chemistry even more special! This song is a heartwarming journey filled with love and memories, and I am sure this song will connect with everyone!”
The heart touching tune, Zaroorat Se Zyada, is sung by playback singers Arijit Singh and Amaal Malik. Lyrics are penned by Kunaal Verma. Directed by Nikhil Advani, the film will clash with Khel Khel Mein and Stree 2.
