FIR actress Kavita Kaushik calls the show a creative playground: Very grateful
Kavita Kaushik recalls her time in the comedy show FIR, highlights its spontaneous creativity and expresses gratitude for the experience.

Kavita Kaushik made her mark with the television show FIR. The show co-starring Aamir Ali is considered one of the most hilarious comedy shows of recent times. A user recently shared a scene from the show, pointing out how random the scenes are, which brought genuine laughter from the audience. This also caught the attention of Kavita Kaushik, who then praised the show, calling it a creative playground and expressed her gratitude.
The user shared a scene from the show where Kaushik’s character, Chandramukhi Chautala, is beating up a man while Aamir Ali enters with ‘Dil Ko Tumse Pyar Hua’ from ‘Rehnaa Hai Terre Dil Mein’ in the background. It becomes ridiculous as his romantic dream sequence merges with the goon beating him. So, Kaushik sometimes romances Ali, dances with her and takes a break from beating the other man, who, mind you, dances in the background when not getting beaten. The user wrote, “Best Indian comedy show ever, dancing in the background (laughing emoji).”
Responding to this, Kavita Kaushik wrote, “Thankfully, these moments were thoughts on the spot, then a creative playground where we could play, make mistakes or create legends.. What a great experience in this life.” “I am very grateful for that.”

The same user also praised the show’s director Shashank Bali, calling him a genius and wondering why he never directed films. Kaushik also responded to this and wrote, ‘He is real, TV did not leave him to do anything else.’

The FIR lasted for nine years from 2006 to 2015. This was also director Shashank Bali’s first TV show. He later directed hit comedy shows like Lapataganj, Bhabi Ji Ghar Par Hain!, May I Come In Madam?, Sahib Biwi Aur Boss, Jijaji Chhat Par Hain, Happu Ki Ultan Paltan and Jijaji Chhat Par Koi Hai.
