The US and Israel are currently engaged in a conflict with Iran, and actor Raashi Khanna talked about the impact of the situation on cinema. He opined that if the situation does not ease, films will no longer be a priority for audiences affected by global tensions.

in an interview with GulteRashi expressed his views on the future of the film industry. She said, “I was talking to a friend recently about the future of movies. A war has started, and I don’t know how people realize that we’re going to face inflation in the future.”

Ustad Bhagat Singh The actor said that films would not be the “first priority” for those affected by inflation as a result of the ongoing war. He also talked about the impact of streaming platforms on theatrical releases.

“After that, because there is scarcity – because I grew up in a middle-class family – I know that films are like a luxury. When there is no money, films will not be our first priority. Already, people are not going to theaters to watch films unless it is a big film. Small and medium films will suffer, OTT will become more powerful, that is the future, (sic)” Rashi said.
