Filmmaker Ashok Pandit condemned the ongoing ‘Sardar Ji3’, who was veteran actor Naseeruddin Shah’s singer-actor Diljit Dosanjh. The director reiterated his and Federation of Western India Cine Employees (FWICE) standing stand of not working with Pakistani artists and said that Diljit, as an actor, could refuse to work in the film after knowing that Pakistani actor Hania Aamir was put in it.

Ashok Pandit’s comments came after Naseeruddin Shah expressed his support to Diljit and addressed a ban on personal talks between India and Pakistan.

Condemning Shah’s comment, Pandit told ANI“We are not surprised, not surprised by the response to Naseeruddin Shah’s Diljit Dosanj’s entire episode. He calls us Jumla Party, he calls us goons. Educated, versatile actor, senior person in industry, calling us the goons, calling us the goons, which proves to be the disappointment of Nasiruddin Shah.”

In his post, Shah said that Diljit was not responsible for the casting of Pakistani actor Hania Aamir in ‘Sardar Ji 3’. Pandit addressed the statement and said that Diljit could refuse to work with Pakistani actors.

He said, “Naseeruddin Shah says that he (Diljit) was not responsible for casting. Well, I would like to tell Naseeruddin Shah that he was an actor. He could refuse to work with Pakistani actors,” he said.

Pandit called Pakistan a ‘terror’ nation because he talked about the barbaric Pahgam attack, with 26 lives, mostly tourists.

He said, “It is very sad that I have to explain the real situation between Pakistan and India on behalf of senior employees of the Federation of Western India.”

Citing several other terrorist attacks in the past, Pandit said, “Naseeruddin Shah, for the last 50 years, Pakistan has been abusing India and attacking India. They have killed people, they have raped people, they have massacred people in this country.

Diljit Dosanj’s non-co-operative direction to work with Hania Aamir in ‘Sardar G3’, defending her and foster attitude, she commented, “For us, our country comes first. Therefore, our response to the entire episode, our response to the entire film, our reaction to the film, ‘Sardar Zia 3’, is right according to the US.”

He reminded Shah of the action that FWICE has taken against Diljit Dosanj amid the ‘Sardar Ji 3’ controversy: “Tell me that you tell Naseer Saheb, we have called for a non-cooperation against Diljit, and we have already issued.”

On 30 June, veteran actor Naseeruddin Shah expressed his support to Diljit through a Facebook post. He wrote, “I stand firmly with Diljit. Jumla party’s dirty tricks department is getting a chance to attack him. He feels that he got it in the end. He was not responsible for the casting of the film, the director was (SIC).”

The actor continued, “But no one knows who he is, while Diljit is known worldwide, and he has agreed to the artists because his mind is not poison. ,

However, a few hours after the post went viral, they took it down for unknown reasons.

Diljit Dosanj provoked the entire controversy after sharing the trailer of the film, which also featured Hania Aamir on Instagram, and announced the film’s foreign release. On 27 June, ‘Sardar G3’ was released in Pakistan and other foreign countries.
