Hanu Raghavapudi confirms making a prequel to Prabhas’ Fauji
In a recent update, Hanu Raghavapudi revealed that Fauji will include a prequel film that will explore a different dimension from the first installment. He revealed that the team is portraying one aspect of Prabhas’ character in the current film, while hoping to delve into another perspective in the second installment.
Hanu also mentioned that there is a lot of material from stories from India’s colonial past that ended tragically but could be fairy tales in another reality, and said that he incorporated some real-life experiences that have personally inspired him.
Interestingly, the filmmaker stressed his desire to portray the freedom fighters in a bright and positive light. He underlined that it is important to celebrate them as true heroes by making ambitious films rather than presenting their stories in a serious or tragic manner.
