Fateh Diwas 3 Box Office: Sonu Sood starrer action spectacular collects Rs 2 crore on Sunday; First weekend ends on an average note

Actor Sonu Sood’s directorial debut, Fateh released in theaters this weekend. However, the violent action film could not attract much audience and earned average earnings in its opening weekend.

Fateh shows no signs of development; Rs 6 crore collected in the opening weekend

Co-starring Jacqueline Fernandez, Naseeruddin Shah, Vijay Raaz, Dibyendu Bhattacharya and others, Fateh is struggling to find an audience at the box office. The Sonu Sood directorial earned Rs 2 crore on its first day, including the discounted ticket fare of Rs 99 across the country.

It remained stable on its second and third day and showed no signs of increasing. The film earned Rs 2 crore on Saturday, followed by Rs 2 crore on Sunday. The total earning of the Sonu Sood starrer currently stands at Rs 6 crore at the Indian box office, which has also come from some self-pumping and external factors to present a stable picture. Ideally, the film should have had double the opening day numbers over the weekend.

Fateh’s underwhelming performance can be seen as an excuse for the lack of a star face in the project. Furthermore, the film did not receive great word-of-mouth, which is a major concern. Although it is being appreciated for its action and gore, the film was not satisfactory on the content front.
