On July 18, 2025, ‘Bhag Milkha Bhaag’ is ready for re -release in theaters. This will give the audience a chance to remove the inspirational story of the heavenly athlete Milka Singh on the big screen.

The film released in 2013 included actor Farhan Akhtar in a transformative role as Milkha Singh, with a remarkable performance by Sonam Kapoor, Divya Dutta and Prakash Raj. Directed by Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra, the film caught Singh’s journey to become one of the most famous sports celebrities in India since a disturbed childhood.

The filmmaker described the film as a tribute to the indomitable spirit of a person who hurts the purpose. “

In a statement released on Monday, Akhtar said, “Painting Milka Singh was both an honor and a responsibility. I am thankful that the audience will once again get a chance to experience the film on the big screen, where its feeling and soul really survive.”

His performance was widespread praise, leading to depth and authenticity in the portrayal of the iconic runner known as ‘The Flying Sikh’.

Kapoor said, “This is a powerful story of flexibility and human soul. I am particularly proud of ‘O Rangrej’. Watching the film again will be a tribute to Milkha Singh ji’s legacy and celebration of meaningful cinema.”

The screening of ‘Bhaag Milchha Bhaag’ will be selected in PVR Inox Theater.

Milkha Singh, who died in 2021 at the age of 91, overtook a legacy of achievements, including earning gold medals in the Commonwealth and Asian Games.

The ‘Bhag Milkha Bhaag’ begins with the 1960 Olympic race, then in the early life of Singh, the difficulties that have faced during the partition of India, and ends with his victorious race against Pakistani sprinter Abdul Khalik. Through its developed story and lively music by Shankar-Ehsan-Low, the film inspires audiences worldwide.
