Filmmaker-choreographer Farah Khan has confirmed that she will be returning to direction after a long hiatus. The announcement was made on actor Nakuul Mehta’s vlog during his visit to his Mumbai home, where Khan spoke candidly about his new focus on filmmaking. Fans have long speculated about his return, and Khan’s confirmation has sparked significant discussion among the film industry and audiences who have followed his work for decades.

During the conversation, Farah Khan addressed the anticipation regarding her comeback. When asked about his plans for a new film, he said, “I will become it now! Now the children will go away and I will go to college again.! There is a whole petition on the internet called come back Farah Khan (I will make a film soon! My kids are going to college so I will make it after that. There is a whole petition for me to return to direction)! So I think now is the time, I think I’ll start at the end of this year.”

Farah also clarified that she has no plans to give up her YouTube success. With his trademark candid humour, he quipped that the platform helps him take care of his children’s expenses.

When Nakuul jokingly asked if YouTube would finance her next film, Farah made another witty comment.

She said, “If I (direct his film), I will do it with Shah Rukh! Otherwise, I will wait and work on YouTube.”
