Veteran actor Amitabh Bachchan was surrounded by a huge crowd as he reached Surat for the Indian Street Premier League Season 3.

Amitabh Bachchan’s arrival in Surat on Friday for the Indian Premier League (ISPL) turned chaotic as a crowd gathered at the entrance of the Lalbhai Contractor Stadium to catch a glimpse of the megastar. Videos circulating online show fans pushing and shoving around the 83-year-old actor, raising concerns over his safety and personal space.
The situation worsened when police and security personnel struggled to clear the way for Bachchan inside the building. Fans began shouting and holding out their phones to take photographs, while officials attempted to control the crowd. At one point, a concerned fan in the crowd was heard saying, “Leave him alone, he’s 83,” a mood reflected on social media shortly thereafter.
Users on Instagram and Xshares shared similar sentiments, urging the elderly actor to exercise restraint and distance himself.

Bachchan arrived in Surat for the inauguration of ISPL Season 3, which brings India’s street-cricket culture to stadiums with tennis-ball T10 matches. The opening ceremony was scheduled for 5 pm, in which defending champions Majhi Mumbai will face Veer Srinagar. Bachchan co-owns Majhi Mumbai with Neeti Agarwal, a notable venture beyond films.
Earlier in the afternoon, the actor was seen at Mumbai’s Kalina airport wearing monochrome streetwear and greeting photographers before boarding his flight.
On the work front, Bachchan was recently seen in the Tamil action drama VettaiyaanDirected by TJ Gnanvel, starring Rajinikanth and other actors.
