Legendary Sarangi player Pandit Ram Narayan passed away on November 9 at the age of 96. Narayan, born in 1927, was a famous Hindustani musician and Sarangi player. He was a recipient of the prestigious Padma Vibhushan and the Sangeet Natak Akademi Award.
