In a recent interview with MissMalini, Shalini shared that her music teacher was almost embarrassed by her impromptu singing in the show.
She mentioned that he punished her taking into account her lack of practice and staying away from lessons since COVID-19. Shalini remembered that her teacher, in an effort to protect her reputation, had told her, “My students go to Indian Idol. You shouldn’t sing like that without rehearsal.”
