Riddhima Kapoor Sahni, who made her on-screen debut this year with Fabulous Lives Vs Bollywood Wives, shares a good relationship with her family. Riddhima lost her father, veteran actor Rishi Kapoor, in 2020. During a promotion of her show, Riddhima revealed that Ranbir Kapoor, Neetu Kapoor and her own family will cry in ‘separate rooms’ after Rishi Kapoor’s death.
During a new interview with YouTuber Siddharth Kanan, Riddhima Kapoor Sahni opened up about losing her father Rishi Kapoor. The actress talked about how her family used to hide emotions and not show them to each other.
Riddhima recalled, “When my father passed away we never showed emotions towards each other. We used to go to different rooms and cry like let everything out and then come and then Be normal or act normal, but it’s really brought us closer.” ,
Riddhima further said that Kapoor’s family cannot express how they feel, however, they bear the pain of losing him “from inside”. The Fabulous Lives Vs Bollywood Wives actress shared that she supports her mother, Neetu Kapoor and vice versa.
Riddhima, who lives in Delhi, said that whenever she is upset, she meets her mother Neetu Kapoor in Mumbai. The newcomer is married to Bharat Sahni and has a daughter, Samara Sahni.
This is not the first time that Riddhima Kapoor Sahni has spoken about losing her father Rishi Kapoor. In an earlier interview with YouTuber Anushka Arora, Riddhima had said that the Kapoor family has become “closer” and they take care of each other a little more. He also mentioned his uncle, actor-filmmaker Rajiv Kapoor, who died a year later in 2021.
Rishi Kapoor, who was suffering from leukemia, went to New York for his cancer treatment. He returned to India in 2019. Later, Rishi was admitted to a hospital in Mumbai due to difficulty in breathing. The veteran actor died on April 30, 2020.
Talking about her debut, Riddhima Kapoor Sahni is a part of the third season of Karan Johar’s production venture, Fabulous Lives Vs Bollywood Wives. The series is headlined by Maheep Kapoor, Seema Sajdeh, Bhavana Pandey and Neelam Kothari. The new season is streaming on Netflix from October 18.
