Ram Charan is all set to make a bang on the big screen this year with his political thriller Game Changer directed by S Shankar. The film directed by S Shankar has already become a topic of discussion and now the director has given an update about it.
In an exclusive conversation with Pinkvilla, director Shankar revealed, “The film is almost complete and just 10-15 days of shooting is left. As soon as it (Indian 2) releases, I will complete it.” Let us tell you that S Shankar is currently gearing up for the release of Kamal Haasan starrer Indian 2.

Speaking further with us, director S Shankar was asked to share his experience of working with a current generation young actor like Ram Charan. In response, the director kept his answer short and said, “It is different and I am enjoying it.”

Game Changer starring Ram Charan is a political thriller film directed by S Shankar. The film also stars Kiara Advani, Anjali, SJ Suryah, Srikanth, Jayaram, Sunil, Samuthirakani and many others in the lead roles.
The film is based on a story written by Jigarthanda director Karthik Subbaraj and will feature the actor in the role of an IAS officer. The film has been on the floors for quite some time now with sporadic shooting schedules across various locations.
The makers of the upcoming film also released the film’s first single Jaragandi on Ram Charan’s birthday this year. Moreover, the film’s musical tracks and score are composed by S Thaman while the camera is cranked by Tiru and edited by Shameer Muhammed.
About Indian 2
Indian 2, also known as Hindustani 2 in Hindi, stars Kamal Haasan in the lead role. It is an official sequel to the 1996 classic film Indian directed by S. Shankar. The film tells the story of a veteran freedom fighter named Senapathi, who works as a vigilante to eradicate corruption in Indian society.
The upcoming film bankrolled by Lyca Productions also features an ensemble cast of Siddharth, SJ Suryah, Rakul Preet Singh, Bobby Simha, Vivek, Priya Bhavani Shankar, and many more in pivotal roles. The film is scheduled to release on the big screens worldwide on July 12, 2024.
