And now, we have exclusively learned that the Ramesh Taurani production has been titled Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai. “It is a unique title that matches the world that David Dhawan wants to create Varun DhawanMrunal Thakur and Shrileela. The source further added that the shooting of the film has begun today with a schedule in Mumbai. The source concluded, “Varun is shooting with Maniesh Paul and Kubra Sait today. As the journey progresses, the whole group will come together. Get ready for a typical David Dhawan comedy with colours, music and a big star-cast.”
Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai will release on 2 October 2025
Creation of ‘Hai Jawani To Ishq Hona Hai’ Ramesh Taurani under his banner, TIP Entertainment, and is set to release in theatres on October 2, 2025. Before the comic caper, Varun will be seen in Baby John, produced by Murad Khetani and Atlee, on Christmas 2024, followed by Sunny Sanskari Ki Dulhania, produced by Karan Johar, on April 19, 2025. Directed by Shashank Khaitan, the film stars Varun and Janhvi Kapoor together. For those who don’t know, Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai is a 90s chartbuster song from Biwi No. 1, directed by David Dhawan, starring Salman Khan, Karisma Kapoor and Sushmita Sen.
