Neelam Shinde, a 35 -year -old woman living in a coma at a hospital in California after a road accident, met her on Monday after receiving an emergency visa last week. He also met his university hospital officials and officials.
According to a family member, he is still in a coma, but is showing symptoms of improvement. The pressure on his brain has reduced, and he has done a surgery after our consent, his uncle, Sanjay Kadam told NDTV.
Ms. Shinde, a postgraduate student at California State University, was killed by a four-wheeler on 14 February. He suffered a painful brain injury, which left his comatos, besides fractures and his chest, weapons and legs injuries. He has been admitted to the UC Davis Medical Center near Sacramento.
In Satara, Maharashtra, his family learned about the accident on 16 February and applied for a visa to stay with him. However, he said that the visa interview slot was received by him which was for the next year.
Ms. Shinde’s family then made a desperate appeal to the Center, which was later enhanced by Maharashtra politician Supriya Sule and media house last week.
He made headlines after the sad situation, he received an emergency visa from the US embassy last Friday and flew from Mumbai to the US on Sunday.
“When we came here for the first time (embassy), no one entertained us. They actually told us that if we kept waiting here, the police will take us away. We will go back home again … We thought we would not see him. For many days, we tried to get an interview, but we are grateful to the media. The media and the government, this process was said to be smoothly.
Family members have been adjusted next to the hospital by Ms. Shinde University.
The local police is investigating the accident, and the driver of the vehicle killing Ms. Shinde has been arrested. The family said that their priority is to ensure that he gets proper treatment and recover, and then they will take legal action.
Ms. Shinde graduated in Computer Science from Savitribai Phule Pune University and master in data analytics from San Jose State University. She is currently a fourth year student at California State University.
