Rashmika Mandanna is currently enjoying the success of Allu Arjun starrer Pushpa 2: The Rule. The actress was recently chosen for an exclusive chat with Pinkvilla Masterclass, where she spoke about how her films like Animal and Pushpa 2 were huge hits that released in the month of December.
In her reaction, Rashmika Mandanna said, “It feels really special. I think my first film (Kirik Party) was released on 30th or 31st December, since then I have had a Kannada film called Chamak, then Pushpa 1, Animal and Pushpa 2. So I guess I have something to do with this month. December.”
“Now, my fear is also that whatever next film is released in December, I hope it will be good and I hope it will make an impact on the films made so far. I can’t take this much stress on myself.”

Talking about her journey as an actor with roles in films like Animal and Pushpa 2, Rashmika Mandanna also revealed how she has no background in cinema. The actress talked about how she didn’t even do theatre, while she only engaged in dancing in schools and performing became her closest interest.
The actress also found that it was surprising to her when people would hoot and cheer for her scenes in films, especially while playing the character of Srivalli in Pushpa 2: The Rule. She highlights the graph that she has embarked on as an actress, which makes her feel great and something that had never crossed her mind before this happened.
Moving forward, Rashmika Mandanna was recently seen in the film Pushpa 2, reprising the role of Srivalli from the 2021 film Pushpa: The Rise. The film chronicles the story of red sandalwood smuggler Pushparaju, played by Allu Arjun, and his journey to reach the top of a syndicate, which becomes more in-depth and rich with its presentation.
The sequel, which was made on an even larger scale, starred Fahadh Faasil in the role of Bhanwar Singh Shekhawat, a sadistic policeman who had ego clashes with Pushpa. The film was released on December 5, 2024 and is running successfully in theatres.
