Recently, choreographer Terence Lewis recalled one of her cutest encounters with the actress at the airport, when she clicked her photos for a fan.
In a chat with Pinkvilla, Terence Lewis recalled, “So, the incident happened around 2010. I was coming back from Kolkata, and you know, I was sitting in a business class lounge, waiting for my flight.”
He said, “I cannot tell which actor or actress was sitting in front of me, but the general manager of the airport – the main man in -charge – came to me and said, ‘Sir, you are here? Amazing! My whole family likes to watch your show. My children are your fans!’ He then said, ‘My wife loves you completely.
He further shared, “I replied, ‘Yes, of course! My flight is in half an hour, you can come.” But he insisted, ‘No, no, sir. I asked, ‘But what about the flight?’ To which he replied, ‘No, Sir, I will not let the flight stop until I get a picture!’ I thought, ‘Okay, but what about other passengers?’ ,
Continuing his story, he said, “So, I just kept quiet. Unlike me, Priyanka Chopra was sitting and watching all this. We had worked on the show together earlier. I choreographed him, but after that, I was just a small choreographer who was doing my work.
Terence recalled him, saying, “This show took place, and it became a huge hit. It has reached every house and every heart, and I am really grateful for it.” For this, Priyanka replied, “Kamal! I am very happy for you. Kudos for you!”
Later, when the wife of the airport manager arrived for the photo, she was stunned to see Priyanka Chopra. Given the enthusiasm, Chopra offered to a picture generously. Lewis found the moment real, which made his growing popularity real. Even during his flight, he and Chopra continued the discussion on the experience.
