Kalki 2898 AD starring Prabhas in the lead is currently running successfully in theatres. Now, director Nag Ashwin himself has revealed some exciting new details about the film’s sequel in an exclusive interview with Pinkvilla.
Talking about the film Kalki 2898 AD being made in two parts, Nag Ashwin said, “I think in the initial stages of the production, it was not even half made when it was split into two parts and we have the script of a single film.”

When asked if the shooting of the film’s sequel is 60% complete, Nag Ashwin said, “I would say it is not 60%. We have already completed shooting the second part 25-30 days ago, but there is still a lot left to do.”
When asked about the plans for the second part, the director further added, “There is still a lot of preparation to be done in terms of designing and action. The whole thing will start again. Just the preparation is a long journey before bringing the actors back on the sets.”
