Over the years, Luv Ranjan and Shashank Khaitan have individually delivered successful films like Pyaar Ka Punchnama, Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania, Pyaar Ka Punchnama 2, Badrinath Ki Dulhania, Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety and Dhadak. After being a part of the film fraternity for over a decade, Pinkvilla has exclusively learned that Luv Ranjan and Shashank Khaitan are joining hands on a friendship comedy for the first time.
According to sources close to the development, Luv Ranjan and Shashank Khaitan are all set to launch new actors in a one-of-a-kind film. “Luv and Shashank are working together on a friendship comedy film and they aim to introduce many new faces to the Indian film industry. The script is locked and the team is now all set to take things on floors in 2025. This is a script that guarantees the presence of newcomers and all the energies come together to make a strong entertaining film for the big screen,” a source close to Vikas revealed.
The source further said that a nationwide search is underway to launch a new face in this collaboration between Luv Ranjan and Shashank Khaitan. “In the past too, both Luv and Shashank have successfully launched new faces in the Indian film industry with the Pyaar Ka Punchnama franchise and Dhadak respectively. “The two creative mavericks are now set for a special collaboration,” the source said.
