Kartik Aaryan’s long-awaited Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 starring Trupti Dimri, Madhuri Dixit and Vidya Balan has been released in theatres. The film is receiving immense love from the fans and the great chemistry between Chhote Mian aka Arun Kushwaha and Kartik is winning the hearts of the audience. Interestingly, Kushwaha revealed that his 4 roles in the film ‘On the Spot’ were extended by 40 days.
Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 actor Arun Kushwaha, who has also worked with Kartik Aaryan in Luka Chuppi, had earlier revealed that he did not get a chance to interact with him as his character was largely based on Pankaj Tripathi. However, it was during Anees Bazmee’s direction that he got a chance to establish himself.
Reflecting on his experience, Arun said, “A much better experience means magic has happened to me with this film.” He further revealed that casting director Mukesh Chhabra recommended his name and Kartik also agreed to take him on board, appreciating his “comedy” skills.
The actor revealed that initially his “small role” was only for 4 days and Anees Bazmee did not know him as he does not watch short content much. However, Anees agreed to cast her for the role and her scenes with Karthik were later loved by everyone on the set.
He continued sharing, “The chemistry started appearing between Karthik bhai and me and Anees sir also liked the work, so I don’t know what Anees sir, Karthik bhai thought that let’s take this character forward, so 4 I made it 40 days straight from the day, did I shoot for 30-35 days? Now if I take him not only to Mumbai but to other sets too, it is a very magical moment for me.” (That chemistry between me and Karthik Bhai) Anees sir also liked my work, and I don’t know what came to the mind of Anees sir and Karthik Bhai that they thought of extending my character for 40 days, they gave me an extension of 30-35 days. (The shooting was scheduled, which also included shooting on other sets from Mumbai. So, it was a magical moment for me),” he added, adding that it was something he used to hear happening with other people on the sets.

Arun further added, “I mean, it’s huge how Anees sir raised the level of the character on the spot. There were no dialogues written for that character and it was limited to only 4 days. So , Anees sir and Karthik were brothers.” Like, let’s write dialogue here on set.”
Kushwa appreciated the director’s spontaneity and pointed out how Bazmee would often scrap the written scene and create a new scene with such brilliance that it blended so perfectly with the entire story, it seemed as if it It was written from the beginning.
“Anees Sir is very spontaneous, that means I want to do this thing in real life, I want to learn from him how beautiful things come out of unplanned dates and I also like this kind of approach sometimes (Anees Sir) I would like to adopt that quality in myself and I would like to learn how unplanned things unfold so beautifully, and I too like this approach for some time),” he said on the concluding note.
Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 is currently running in theatres.
