Karisma Kapoor is one of those actresses whose career is one for the books and is truly inspiring. The actress ruled the showbiz like no one could ever imagine and was one of the most loved leading ladies of her time. Kapoor, who has been one of the rarest divas to have worked with the Khan trio of Bollywood, spoke exclusively to Pinkvilla and shared with us her rarest qualities.
Karisma Kapoor has the rare qualities of the Khans
Speaking to us, Karisma Kapoor admitted, “We have all grown up together. I think they are all very special and very different from each other. Their style of working is very different; that is their specialty.”
Mentioning his rare quality, Kapoor said, “Salman (Khan) is more fun-loving and jovial, but in the shot, he looks very serious. Shah Rukh Khan is extremely hardworking and a very generous actor. He will actually sit with you and speak your lines, which is a great quality, and then, of course, Aamir (Khan) is a perfectionist. Working with him, I also got to learn a lot.”
Karisma laughed and said, “So I love observing actors and I literally observed them and adopted their best qualities.”

A Brief Look at Karisma Kapoor’s Filmography with the Khans
The 50-year-old actress has been a favourite Bollywood heroine for a long time and gave one of the biggest hits of her career in Raja Hindustani opposite Aamir Khan in 1996. However, her pairing with Salman Khan has been the longest, where the two have worked together in several films.
The list includes some of the most successful films, including Biwi No. 1, Judwaa, Jeet, Dulhan Hum Le Jayenge, Hum Saath Saath Hain, Chal Mere Bhai, Jagrati and Nischay. There was also Rajkumar Santoshi’s blockbuster titled Andaz Apna Apna (1994), which starred Salman, Aamir and Karisma – all three together.
Karisma worked with Shah Rukh Khan in Krishna Vamsi’s crime drama Shakti: The Power and the 1997 Yash Chopra-directed musical romantic film Dil Toh Pagal Hai.
Karisma Kapoor is currently judging India’s Best Dancer Season 4 along with Terence Lewis and Geeta Kapoor.
