Veteran actor Kamal Haasan is all set to bring his iconic film Indian 2 aka Hindustani 2 to cinemas worldwide on July 12, 2024. In an exclusive Pinkvilla Masterclass, the actor was asked if he would do a full-fledged Hindi film once again like his classic films Chachi 420, Ek Duje Ke Liye and others.
In response Kamal Haasan said, “I am trying to convince Mr. Mani Ratnam to do the same for Thug Life. We are halfway through the film but I think I can convince him. If that happens, it will be a unique experiment where halfway through the film we decide to make it in another language. Let’s see, I can’t speak without his support.”

Kamal Haasan further adds, “I think now the whole country is becoming one thanks to telecom and OTT. So now language is not a big problem and cinema has its own language. You can no longer divide cinema into 22 parts, it is all one part and you will understand that this is why Chaplin works for a boy from Paramakudi.”
