Nag Ashwin opens up about Vijay Deverakonda and Dulquer Salmaan’s character origins
During an interactive session, when the host asked Nag about his plans to take Vijay Deverakonda and Dulquer Salmaan’s characters forward in the Kalki universe, Nag Ashwin said, “I mean they are very limited in the roles they are playing, obviously it is possible to expand it into something else, especially for Dulquer, but as of now it is like that.”
Later, the host asked Nag about his opinion on the fan conspiracy theories on the internet about the two characters. In response, Nag said, “I have read some of them, I think it’s great, it’s not my idea but yes if it makes sense, if there’s a better idea or if there’s a seed of an idea somewhere then yes for sure.”
He concluded by saying, “All writers are greedy, like we take whatever we get.”
